Aquatic Fitness

 

Improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscular conditioning and flexibility. We offer a large variety of water-based exercise classes including water walking, water aerobics, water sports and more.

WATER WALKING~ (low intensity)
Join your friends for a FUN, self-guided water workout. Walk from the side of the pool to the lane lines and back! (No instructor)

NOODLE- ING~ (low intensity)
Gentle, lower body work out that uses noodles as flotation devices.

WATER STRIDES~ (low intensity)
Great choice for your first water aerobics class/and or post surgical participants! Water Strides is a fun, practical alternative or addition to jogging or walking on land. The water provides extra resistance while protecting you from injuries common to higher impact activities. A variety of moves and equipment are used to strengthen muscles, maintain range of motion and improve flexibility.

SILVER SPLASH~ (low intensity)
Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! Silver Splash offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required. A special Silver Splash kickboard is used to help develop strength, balance and coordination.

JUST MY SPEED~ (low/moderate intensity)
Geared towards the beginning exerciser, pre & post natal mom or if recovering from an injury, this full body workout is just what you need! The class includes a warm-up, a 30 minute cardiovascular section, toning and a cool down/stretching segment.

H2O PUMP~ (moderate intensity)
Designed to burn fat, strengthen muscles and build endurance. This class includes an intense cardiovascular component followed by a strength-training segment possibly utilizing a variety of equipment.

CARDIO POWER~ (moderate/high intensity)
Beginner’s Beware! This moderate to high intensity class will keep you moving to the coolest grooves in the pool! Bring your water bottle as this class is sure to make you sweat!

DEEP WATER~ (high intensity)
A great cardio and strengthening class with no impact or strain on your muscles! Participants are highly encouraged to use flotation devices to help focus on core strength and stability. Participants should be comfortable in deep water.

BOOT CAMP~ (high intensity)
A high intensity, shallow water class designed to challenge even the most fit member! This class incorporates both cardio and toning components by using the water’s resistance and equipment. This class is a great addition to your cross-training fitness routine. No swimming ability is required.

FINNING~ (high intensity)
A power toning aerobic class that uses flippers and other resistance equipment to help you slim down and burn calories. Great for lap swimmers who need a change in their routine! Swimming ability helpful but not required. Please note: Doctor’s approval suggested for knee, hip and joint issues.

30/30~ (high intensity)
Receive all the benefits of Finning and Deep Water

MASTERS SWIMMING~ (high intensity)
Program is open to all adult swimmers (fitness, tri athlete, competitive) who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming.

DEEP CIRCUIT~ (high intensity)
High intensity combo class that uses a mix of flotation devices and fins! Some swimming ability required.

CIRCUIT BREAKER~ (high intensity)
Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water…this high intensity, shallow water class (with a few deep water components) will keep you moving and get your blood pumping! Class participants rotate through a series of stations using a variety of equipment. A great and challenging way to bump up your exercise routine!

TRI-RUN~ (high intensity)
This class emphasizes natural running form and motion through interval sessions with varying intensities.
